Roamers 4×4 Club

The Roamers 4×4 Club was started by a group of 4 wheeling enthusiasts in 1972. We became incorporated in 1974 and gained non-profit status in 1977. We are a family orientated club with 40 active members. The Roamers hold monthly meetings, the first Wednesday of every month at the Bowler in Fargo, ND. We have members who enjoy the trial riding/off road aspect of 4 Wheeling, members who are into Mud Racing and some who do both! Our vehicles range every where from Trail Ride Jeeps/Trucks, ATV’s and Side by Sides to Mud Race Trucks. We’ve wheeled and participated in Off Road Events in Dresser, WI, Gilbert, MN, Appleton, MN, Freedom Ridge Atwater, MN, Akeley, MN just to name a few! We hope to add even more to that list in the future!

The Cliffhangers 4X4 Club was founded in 1975 By Doug Daniels and some local residents with an interest in family four wheel drive activities. The first few years were interesting with members volunteering for “Trailboss of the Month” where it was up to a member to come up with a trail for everyone’s enjoyment. Many routes were found along Lake Sakakawea and in surrounding coulees in the Williams county area.
