Shelby Offroad

Shelby Offroad

The club was initially founded by five close friends in Shelby County, Alabama in 2013. Despite the myths, rumors, and possibly “legends”, those five old Jeep guys were just beer drinking buddies, that liked to go wheeling on the weekends. When you are having fun, it doesn’t take long for people to notice. Pretty soon, the group grew into a much larger iteration. At one point, there was even a Junior branch for local high school kids to join, and there was not a specific mandate on off road vehicle type. There were trucks, ATVs, Jeeps, and all manner of off road vehicles included. Over time, the Junior branch was dissolved, the focus shifted back towards Jeeps exclusively, and a much more tried and true approach to managing the club began to evolve.

It took some trial and error to get to us where we are today. Each learning opportunity, and years of experience, have allowed us to provide the very best in membership offerings. This goes well beyond a logo and social media presence today. We know what works and does not work for an off road group. To us, membership means participation, tangible member benefits, and an experience that enhances your life. It is not enriching someone else by selling merchandise, skimming large discounts off the group’s back, or profiting off memberships. With so many clubs and groups out there, to us the “litmus test” for knowing if one is right for you comes down to one easy question: “What’s is in it for you to join?” At SHELBY OFFROAD, we try our best to make that an easy answer!
