It all started with Grandpa Donovan and his son Dwaine over 50 years ago. The Tillman family made its way from Minnesota down to Indiana and eventually settled on the west side of Indianapolis. Since their first family business, the Home Juice Company, the Tillman family has been an active part of the greater Indianapolis small business community for the past 52 years! From delivering juice to people\u2019s homes to outfitting and selling vehicles to selling and installing the latest accessories the Tillman\u2019s business has adapted with the times.<\/p><p>After finding success at two different Indianapolis locations, the wheels of progressed necessitated a trade with the City of Indianapolis.\u00a0 In 1978 the city made a deal with the Tillman\u2019s and swapped properties, giving Tillman\u2019s Van Sales the building it still occupies to this day an historic property at the corner of 16<sup>th<\/sup> and Lafayette, the Old Pole Restaurant.\u00a0 By this time, Donovan and Dwaine were joined by Dwaine\u2019s son, Rick. In 1988, Rick launched the original Tillman\u2019s Van and Truck.\u00a0 Starting with conversion vans and then transitioning to off-road and overall vehicle accessories, Tillman\u2019s Vehicle Accessories is proud of and grateful for 30-plus years of industry leading experience and carrying on the Tillman\u2019s legacy of small business in the greater Indianapolis area even entering into a 4<sup>th<\/sup> generation with Rick\u2019s sons, Michael and Scott, coming alongside the family business as well.<\/p><p>Tillman\u2019s Vehicle Accessories has two locations in Central Indiana with the original Tillman\u2019s Van &amp; Truck Accessories store located just East of downtown Greenwood and the Tillman\u2019s Truck Gear store located just west of the intersection of US-40 and Ronald Reagan Parkway in Plainfield. And of course you can still see Dwaine at the van store at the corner of 16<sup>th<\/sup> and Lafayette. Finally, launched brand-new in 2018, is Tillman\u2019s Auto World located across the street from the original Tillman\u2019s Van &amp; Truck Accessories store in Greenwood!
